Ramadan Mubarak!
The first day of fasting is Tuesday, April 13. Taraweeh starts tonight right after Isha salat (9:45pm). The masjid has limited capacity. If the masjid is full inside, you may pray outside.
You must bring a prayer rug, wear a mask covering nose and mouth, and maintain social distancing (at least 6 feet). If you’re sick or feeling any symptoms of illness, please stay home.
May Allah swt keep us safe and healthy throughout the month of Ramadan and accept our ibadah and be pleased with us.
The situation with Covid-19 is still a big concern and hence we request that everyone please follow the guidelines below:
1) Elderly without vaccination and those who are feeling sick are requested to stay home.
2) Everybody is requested to wear a mask covering the nose and mouth.
3) Bring your own prayer rug and pray at marked spots only.
4) Maintain social distacing at all time.
5) Make wudu at home.
Please write a check to “Brookhaven Islamic Center Inc” and either put it within a donation box at the masjid or mail it to:
Masjid Abu BakrNarrated 'Umar bin Al-Khattab: I heard Allah's Messenger saying, "The reward of deeds depends upon the intentions and every person will get the reward according to what he has intended. So whoever emigrated for worldly benefits or for a woman to marry, his emigration was for what he emigrated for."”
