Asalaamu Alaikum! As we enter the last 10 nights of Ramadan, we pray that Allah (SWT) bestow His mercy and blessings upon you and your families and that He protect us from harm and accept our fast.
Ramadan is a special time for all Islamic organizations around the world, including ours. Your support during this month allows us to continue our programming throughout the year. Closing to protect the health of the community was difficult but the right decision and has resulted in a significant decline in contributions. We humbly request your support, regardless of the amount, to help us continue to serve the Muslim Community. May Allah reward you for your intentions and support!
We have obtained all necessary permits for the Masjid Extension Project – Phase 1 to develop our Parking Lot. We pray and hope that we can begin work on the project in the next couple of month’s inshaAllah. And we need to raise one hundred and fifty thousand dollars ($150,000) to make sure the work does not stop.
So please continue to extend your support as you have done all these years. JazakAllah Khair.
In order to comply with social distancing guidelines and to help combat the spread of coronavirus, there will be no community iftar or Taraweeh Salah during Ramadan until further notice and the Masjid will remain closed. We encourage you to plan for iftar with your family at your home. We pray that Allah keeps everyone in His Protection and May He enable us to use this time to increase His remembrance at our houses inshaAllah.
Every Sunday between 12 and 2 there will be Sunday Maktab (school) for kids 6 years and above in the Masjid. The Imam will lead the Maktab (school) and teach the kids to read the Quran, memorize small surahs, duas for daily benefit and others.
Every Saturday after salaat-ul-Fajr there will be a halaqa of fazail (virtues) followed by tea.

Masjid Abu BakrNarrated 'Umar bin Al-Khattab: I heard Allah's Messenger
saying, "The reward of deeds depends upon the intentions and every person will get the reward according to what he has intended. So whoever emigrated for worldly benefits or for a woman to marry, his emigration was for what he emigrated for."”
