As-salaamu-alai-kum,

As we enter the last few days of Ramadan, we pray that Allah (swt) bestow His mercy and blessings upon you and your families and He protect us from all harm and accept our fast.

Ramadan is a special time when we all come together in the Masjid for salaat, Iftar, Taraweeh and other regular activities. But this Ramadan has been different, one that we have not experienced in our life times. We hope that during these times you found time to connect, pray, and stay together with your families.

There are only a few more days left in this month of Ramadan. So before it ends, let us drive by the masjid, pick up Iftar and feel connected to the one place where we belong, that is the masjid.

Please write a check to “Brookhaven Islamic Center Inc” and either put it within a donation box at the masjid or mail it to:

Narrated 'Umar bin Al-Khattab: I heard Allah's Messenger (saws) saying, "The reward of deeds depends upon the intentions and every person will get the reward according to what he has intended. So whoever emigrated for worldly benefits or for a woman to marry, his emigration was for what he emigrated for."

Sahih Al-Bukhari, Revelation, 1
