Jumu’ah Salah Has Been Suspended for this Friday (03/20/2020)

Friday, March 20, 2020 10:16 am
Due to the Coronavirus outbreak, we sadly announce that there will be NO JUMU’AH PRAYER ON FRIDAY 03/20/2020. The City of Brookhaven has declared emergency and prohibited gatherings of more than 50 people. We urge and request everyone to preform salaat-ul-Jumua’h in your homes so we can abide by the safety rules our City has placed. We will keep you posted with further updates as we monitor the situation InshaAllah. May Allah protect us and not burden us beyond what we are capable of. Ameen

Please write a check to “Brookhaven Islamic Center Inc” and either put it within a donation box at the masjid or mail it to:

Narrated 'Umar bin Al-Khattab: I heard Allah's Messenger (saws) saying, "The reward of deeds depends upon the intentions and every person will get the reward according to what he has intended. So whoever emigrated for worldly benefits or for a woman to marry, his emigration was for what he emigrated for."

Sahih Al-Bukhari, Revelation, 1
